I took a quick look and thought it was a puppeteer's workshop. That's a pretty cool project and cool materials so far :) I'd love to see breakdowns whenever you have a chance!
I'm going to build a small studio/workshop in my new apartment, that makes me an artist and possibly an artiste or maybe just a jackass who likes to paint Speak & Spells
Unfortunatly my time off request was DENIED! Doh. Oh well. The boss promised to pay for me to go to the next event to make up for it. (Next CA.org workshop perhaps?)
I'm currently attending an Autodesk Animation Workshop by Andrew Gordon from Pixar ( did the first day today, then another full day tomorrow )...been cool so far.
He was in Richmond a little while ago for a French Film Festival. Unfortunately I didnt know about it until just now. Apparently he showed a piece and gave a workshop.
I'm just finishing up the CG Workshops "Become a Better Artist" course which is all about digital 2d art, so I'll probably be looking for a good incentive to practice what I've learned.
There is a Gnomon Workshop tutorial he put together for a cobblestone material in SD5. I went through it, on chapter seven at the moment. I might post my results here. It is RO's thread though. Ha ha!
