I think its a combination of luck, lots of followers, friends or some network and very good work / art. I bet a lot people clicked on those :P. I just went to DrawCrowd but that site is for 90% filled with female drawings like that. I guess that site has a different kind of public.
Disagree. The fact that Andy's site is easy to navigate, simple and efficiently laid out with his contact info immediately in your face communicates his work just fine. Some folks don't know HTML/Flash etc and may update their site quite often, blogpspot is great for that and really isn't unprofessional.
sounds like an interesting idea. The link to your site doesn't want to work for me. What 3d package are you using? I would be interested in doing some work as a world object modeler, sounds like it could be fun. my AIM is ozymandias41704 and my site is www.artwanted.com/benpletch if you're interested.
I never had problems with uploading through sites when I was using Vista, but I never tried with the sites you're referencing. What exactly is it (not)doing? It may be an IE7 setting. I've found more issues relating to it than anything else, and makes more sense than the OS being the problem.
ah. I thought i had albedo of body from them. But i think i got mine from 3dsk or similar site. There is a couple sites that have scanned human base meshes, probably you can find link in the wiki. ten24 *** is the other
Cool! Keep up the progress! If you're currently focusing on anatomy I found this site quite helpful: https://line-of-action.com/practice-tools/figure-drawing/ You can choose a time-limit and the site keeps going through different photos for you to study.
So i voted on there site.. But srlsy guys, there's no chance in the universe that they will even remotely think about it, until all of us and our whole freaking family writes up for this. So GO GO GO! [EDIT] "Voted" as in waiting for there crappy site to let my message in :(
*sigh* Sorry, I can't be bothered to say to much about this. Don't go to a real school for Animation. Trust me. Seriously... *sigh* And what are you talking about? Animation, pure animation, should be ANIMATION not rigging. Just get Richard Williams book, man.
What i did years ago was, business card cd/dvd(not sure what they were) Had a copy of my site, a few extra pieces not on my site yet, video turnarounds, resume, contact info, and demo real. business cards and print portfolio
