Had to do this quickly today for the news, so used my wip shader for maya's viewport, no bakes. Still ways to go to look good, but not having to render something and tweak it real-time inside maya saves a good amount of time. Thanks for your time! =)
Hello! I've been working on this piece the last couple of days. I took Kha'zix as the subject of this illustration. The "Invader" Concept is located in a crop field. Some doodles and studies in my pocket notebook: I quickly sketched the body and general design of it on Zbrush.
Like last time, I'm going to enter for the Hard Surface Prop category. Depending on how quickly I knock them out, I might then go for the Hand painted prop.

I reworked maps elements based on your comments. I've placed the chests in a simple "environment" quickly done. A plane with a fractal, nothing special, just for an effect of depth Viewport screenshot.
Might be easier to get believable proportions if you used box primitives instead of sculpting it all out from the start. Feels like you're trying to get into the details too quickly.
If you have a brush active, it should always do it for the brush, if you want it to be done on the layer instead, what I do is switch to selection mode quickly (v), then back to the brush.
~ I prefer the image displaying, because you can flick through images quickly. Everything else is lame. My biggest issue is with font. Times New Roman? Seriously? In 2011??
