I was looking through my ref folder and found this, it's a real world example of how lighting affects what you see: Taken from here, there's more images: http://www.artinstructionblog.com/color-studies-part-3-the-influences-of-the-environment-on-color
Decided to not let this one perish in the unfinished projects folder, so I started today blocking out spaces, shapes, and some furniture. This is today's progress: Ignore the pistol, I was just testing that is fully walkable and you won't get stuck.
Do quotes not work yet? I click on the quote button next to a post and it brings up a 'new topic' page. Computron: Yep, they're all busted. My bookmarks folder has become a wasteland. I assume/hope this will be fixable?
Dan! - You know I (Ben Black) love your art, but damn everyone at Trendy Entertainment is super talented. I'm saving all of this work in my inspiration folder. All of you keep fleshing out this amazing looking world. :)
You always can save project like ordinary PSD first and then work with it. The Photo-normals though really created in appdata folder, but it supposed to be a temporary file so you need to re-save it or duplicate layers to your current psd.

Do you start from the basic human figure of Zbrush or you start by scratch making a new human shape by your own ? and all times like that or you keep in your folders a basic human character? Is it wrong to use a base from another person or is it allowed?
I've had this guy laying around my personal arts folder for ages and thought it'd be a shame not to post him, so here he is! Inspired from reading the grey knights Omnibus book. rendered out in Marmoset 1! Old shool... I'll post close ups later on
Hey guys, the copyToMax.bat file doesn't fully work for me, it's not copying a bunch of scripts anywhere into my 3ds Max folder. As a result the character, model and toolbox scripts don't open up at all. Could anyone tell me where these scripts need placing so I can do it manually? Cheers!
