I've been developing a way of making frayed cloth. I'm still playing around with the brush, but i'll post it when i'm happy with it. Also, what do you call these wrist wraps? My googling has been exhausted... Anyway, adjusted some proportions, tidied some paint, experimented with cloth and made a pendant.
It might also help to set you degree settings if you have curved objects in your scene. I believe it defaults at 45* but if you set it lower, the smoothing group will seem to "wrap around" some objects at that angle or less. It essentially controls what kind of edge will stop the smooth from progressing to the next face.…
Which looks better? One is just simplified with layers a bit I'm really itching to wrap this up, I want to move into some 3D work and honestly I'm getting a bit bored of this. Any final touches I really need? I'll try and submit it to Blizzard's fan art page, who knows might get on it.
looking cool, I really like the colors and feeling. One suggestion... when your redoing your sculpt for the stream bed texture. Set your wrap mode to 1. This will make sure your texture tiles perfectly. I think you might need to use a poly plane first and convert it to mesh3d. Good luck
^agree with calabi. One of the most memorable anatomy tips I can remember is to think of the head as a giant cylinder. Everything wraps around the cylinder -- when you look at the head from a top down or bottom up position you should be able to clearly see the "barrel" of the mouth. All the forms are there -- just pull…
@Heather_Bea Thx I'm doing what I can to wrap this up. well I'm not quite sure how to change the ambient color of the scene inside of the cry engine. I haven't looked for it specifically. I'm also trying to learn the camera set up. Crits are very welcome. PS. I see some of the placement problems.
Again- .Env files are NOT only for envelopes. They store per-vertex weights if the vertex has been hand-weighted at all. I don't use envelopes either- .env files save vertex weights. I wouldn't be surprised if skin or die uses Max's save and load .env functionality but just wraps it into its interface.
I couldnt see any eye wrap for naix yet so I decided to make one so here is a very base model with base texture. I have like 400 tris remaining so I will make it better and add some other things as well. Dont forget to leave a comment or critism.
Dunno what to make of this... but it wouldn't be the first time we hear of something like this. Too bad. Still have not started to play.. but there are lots of comments on the city being poor quality but the castle being awesome. Will be playing this next week prbly. Still wrapping up the first one.…
Looks like a great start to me, I think the pleats on hist pant need some more work though, and none of the fold seem to wrap around to the side. What really bothers me is that his head looks pinched, grab his ears and pull them out a little and see what that looks like.
