The transition from mountains to flat ground is not very natural. I'd usually start with a sculpt and use that in World Machine so you know things are structured and transition the way you want. I've never seen it done without a sculpt so idk how that works out tho.
If you look at the PDF they sent, your card is listed as tested without caveats. But, the problem is really driver based. Which is probably why upgrading to Win 10 fixed it for me. Also the only *real* difference between Geforce and Quadro cards are the drivers(besides RAM and build quality).
Here is a quick "fix", turn off the "realtime game mode preview" on the viewport. the CPU will go down and resume normal "idle" state. I have to do this on my laptop. I can see from your screenshot that it is on. (the icon next to the "P" , i am unsure of the name)
haha turned out ace! really nice, the fat guy is disgusting I think the few hairs combover from the concept could add to the 'fat desperate buisnessman playing away' vibe. Would be sweet to animate a signature move for these guys, or just an idle to show their different styles
I just tried with CS4 on Vista 64bit SP2 and it didn't work :( . i have a tablet plugged in, so idk if that matters. Well I shouldn't say it didn't work, it seemed like it was lagging a little, but there was no line and it wasn't performing like it should. Keep up the good work :)
Hmmmm ok, the yoda anim was split up into 3 for the game, so you had into (where he jumps up) an idle in the air (where he's shaking, meant to look like he's falling through the air) and the final stab.... so maybe it just isn't reading right :(
Hey vahl, I'm very intrigued and curious to know, what is this material for, how do you use it and why, and why do you apply it to all your high poly meshes? And why do you add vertex colors to the dif slot in some of the high polys? Thanks again dude.
I am loving ur shapes. Really nice. I hope the scene doesnt look too dark when u put it in ur scene. Its allready difficult to differentiate between te dark blue and the dark grey. Try brining out the dif in the spec, or add a gloss map.
Some things in progress Vampire - I split it off from the neck, to work on the body, which caused a lot of distortion as you can see :( (for some reason this is also taken in ortho.. Idk what happened there lol!) Anatomy practices (First time working on torso..learning lots.) 1 2
I like to use max because it allows me to use some modifier stacks, which kinda reminds me of photoshop and it's layers stacks. But idk, other than that I used blender and maya and both are pretty good, thought I personally like to use 3ds max. And zbrush ofc.
