Thanks, guess i'll go with the original. Seems like you can mod it enough to be just as good as BFG, and seems like they gimped a bunch of stuff in the BFG version.
yeah just finished it with a rather low completion score of 28 percent. really enjoyed the game though, beautiful landscapes. how the f: did they do so much work for one game.

Substance does work on Linux, at least the old Allegorithmic versions had dedicated Linux installers.
