commercial art is not made for overly acute consumers. It's made to be appealing to broad audiences. It's also made a on deadline/budget. if you want creative freedom, you have to make your own stuff.
pretty definitive (& sampled) quote from an older movie: 'in honor of the last american hero to whom speed means freedom of the soul. the question isn't when he's going to stop, but who's going to stop him.' -J
Very ominous character concepts, dii! There's a lot of details in them and I like the freedom there is for the viewer to imagine the characters in different color variations. Did you draw these in Painter with symmetry mode on or something? :-)
Death to War. Kill Violence. Fuck Profanity. War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery... Ignorance is indeed strength, it even seems to be a path to power. "Don't believe everything you think." -- me /jzero
Good god, i've plugged over 100 hours into the Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for the psp, usually while playing with a friend of mine. It's ridiculous, and we're not even to the upper tiers yet. Seriously..
instead of beeing free, we are getting more enclausurated, what is the fuck wrong with the us ?! It's called capitalism, there's a lot of money to be made with taking away people's freedom and selling it back for a high price.
Hey Vertrucio, thanks for the feedback. I went with some artistic freedom on the body suit but your right. the butt needed to be fixed. Butt update :) Still needs to be polished a bit in that area again.
Update! This is a bit tricky considering I had to use TON of creative freedom thanks to there being only one reference image of this weapon. Not sure what else to add to really make it pop.
I thought it was cool having team dynamics for a contest since in the industry you work in teams. I think having such a broad theme was cool because it gave people a lot creative freedom.
^George Orwell has to be chuckling right now... it's like they're Preserving our freedoms till the world is ready for us to use them. I mean, if that's not orwellian i DON'T know what it is.
