Sam, how easy does it come apart and how large and heavy are the pieces? I guess Im thinking raised dual monitors, scanner, and a draftsman like small area thats angled for my tablet. Ugh! oh jeeez , so i have been using a graphire 3 or 4 .. 6x8 tablet for years now .. and i finally upgraded to an intuos 5 touch .. under linux i still have the touch stuff working yet but i got the pen working and.. mother of gawd its so nice compared to that old graphire.. first sketch and first impression :

Looks like a pretty good first start! One thing I'd suggest is to not be so "clean". Parts of your texture look so smooth it appears that you used the gradient tool. I remember that happening to me in the past, I forget how I got around it, I think it just went away, probably when I did something else totally unrelated like shutting down things running in the background, and updating out of date video drivers. Might want to update your Tablet driver if you use one.
