Hi everyone, I've recently decided to expand my skill set into rigging and I'm running into a bit of an issue that I was hoping to get some insight on. I'm working on a book that I would like to do the following: - Independent cover movement (ie: open just the cover, lay the book open flat, etc) - morph the block of pages…

What happened to drawing at lunch with a biro? I don't think silhouette studies like these are really going to help much if you're intent on doing a pretty straight forward human-dude. You really need to start playing with silhouette-effecting shapes (capes, etc.), or go into line drawing mode, not painting with such a…

***UPDATE 14/12*** Alright, so since I've returned to working on my project today, I've found the re-importer works as it should, retaining all of your custom masks - that is, if you created them using the functionality built into the mask editor. If you painted your custom masks into the layer mask assigned to each…

I really had to look twice before identifying the open-grave as an open-grave and the 2nd stone as a gravestone. The lamp is in a quite odd position (i wouldnt…
When you subdivide a mesh in ZBrush, it modifies the base mesh that it later uses to bake a map from. In this case you've got a a mesh with two open ends with no control edges around them; subdividing will cause those open ends to contract. Do this: Import your base mesh, store a Morph Target, subdivide your mesh and maybe…
