Definitely looking more like a battleship size cruiser. Only thing I see is that with all the tiny detail you have scattered across the ship, the dark grey hex panels look a little smooth.
most sprites are ripped by switching off layers. grabbing the tiles is a nightmare, as you're just diving into hex of 8x8 pixel blocks and have to cycle the palette around until it looks decent (which it never does)

Just messed around with some coloration and (maybe) some gold inlays tonight on the hex tiles. Adding dirt will be my next step, along with getting a couple really worn tiles in there and tell some kind of story.
