Magus' Lair Idk If it were me, I would have chosen the Tyranno lair; there is just so much more to it. As for this one, it needs more omph. Perhaps add somethings that weren't in the original piece. Maybe a gargoyle or two in the background or maybe some more glowy fixtures
Just write a list of your qualifications in a word document / pdf, don't make any spelling mistakes, make sure you include a contact email and for the love of all that is good don't rate your ability on a scale (we'll just laugh at you when we read it)
tnx man! i was thinking ...cuz i've seen how this one guy did it in xsi, and he saw it someone do it in maya and thats where he saw it. so i thought maybe do a selection invert it and then grow....idk, but fowlers scripts may help
Oh okay, yeah I don't need a monster to be honest, I just wanna be able to model without it overheating like my current laptop, and something that will last me years and years. I never replaced anything so idk how to choose parts wisely.
This is fantastic! Is unfortunate that you didn't get the job, but I am sure you'll get something lined up soon :) You should build something off of this... Idk why but it reminds me of Bioshock Infinite for some reason haha. Keep up the good work!
Back again with some more progress, as suggested I have sped up the land and slowed the return to idle. Some posing tweaks. Once again, feedback is always welcome before I move forward to the wonderful first spline! https://syncsketch.com/sketch/160239#195225
I just remembered this site which has some interesting stuff: http://www.erco.com/products/download/index/index_3620/en/en_index_dltut_1.php Be sure to check out the Printed Media section, there are a bunch of PDFs that go into great detail about architectural lighting, especially this one.

I just want to avoid all controversy about copyrights and ripped models. I present to you: The MechKnight Sir Jon! I know an Idle anim isn't part of the comp. I'm just testing my rig again, and trying to get a feel for the personality of the character.
This is like a super super super minor crit but it looks like the little stone blocks at the front of the staircase are using the same texture and the big dent is making it a bit obvious. I think that you would be able to just rotate one of them? Idk, its not that big of a deal.
