Like they say in the notes, take it the pdf to your local print shop, print a copy out have it bound and voila!, instant hardcopy of the book. They took the step to give this out for free, which was very nice of them, considering it almost wouldn't have happened at all.
http://www.uni-koblenz.de/~shinda/Infos/Tutorials/SM_tuto_p1.pdf "read" this one, or at least just look at the little pretty pictures. see how he works throught the head and hand of his model. compare what you have done to his models topology.
my only guess is click tessellation and move the voxel fit all the way up? Does your model line up with the reference <option in the same window ? This is in wrong thread but idc though a mod should move it.(not being bossy i like organization.)
Started on a new piece for the demo reel update, I noticed I have a distinct lack of animal animations so thought I would make an animation towards that goal! I am looking for feedback on this fly into Idle before I dive too far into details. Please and Thanks! https://syncsketch.com/sketch/53f72934a200/#438645
Hello Polycount Community, this is a personal project, that I did in my spare time over the past month. It is a German WWII Tank with Dif, Gloss, Nrm and Spec maps. Modeled in 3ds Max, textured in PS/Quixel Suite and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 2. I hope you enjoy it :) Tips and Critiques are very welcome.
Dude i have a stupid ass grin on my face dude omg i am o.d.ing on the comments but holyshit this is so welcomed, idc who doesn't like this idea i love it, what do you need? lol and no i am not a genie. :)
I took a look, your images take quite a while to load, and your resume being in pdf only and not an online version is a con for me. But overall you have some nice stuff, some clean renders of the restaurant and a pretty good variety of things :)
tnx guys! yea idk maybe its the way i set up my lights or something. Yes, Jonathan your right. I went back and collapsed some of those lines and my silhouette didn't really suffer either. Tnx for the feedback :)
Awesome work man! If you are still looking for things to add in your kitbash, you should check out this site: http://www.revell.com/ It's filled with car, ship, plane, spaceship models... And there's a pdf instruction file with each model containing high details of the parts.
thanks guys! it turns out there were some hidden vertices that sneaked themselves into the model. Also quads is the way to go idd. @Velktri, I had that problem before but luckily I am not that sloppy anymore =P Learning the most from making mistakes! ^^
