2.5 hrs/day is good. It just depends what you are using it for. Studying Loomis is great if you can follow him. Some days I get so occupied I can only push 1 hr tops. Other days I get 0. If your studio is not that mature to have an hr, maybe get a doctor's note before talking to your bosses. When you add f+".avi" you are adding ".avi" to the end of the complete filename and extention. Also, I don't think it was working because you have an extra f after the word render.
