Hold your horses now. Main focus was face and head and sculpting it based on ref image. The one who sculpts often needs to sculpt based on ref image and nail it or get it acurate as possible. This is what i am trying to do. I am not trying to be concept artist i am trying to learn sculpt based on ref images. The ref image…
Yeah Chilliskinner! hehehe! Yeah Anuxinamoon I do that as well sometimes. Sometimes I get a really complex mesh and I prefer to break it up and lay it in flat planes. I enjoy unwrapping as well. Something cool about the texture layout and how it wraps around the 3D model in creative ways. I'm still getting better and…

You are looking for the Render to Texture tool. This is located under Rendering > Render to Texture (or just use the shortcut "0"). I'm not going to detail the whole process, but a quick google search will probably get you a good step-by-step process.
3dsMax help has tons of stuff that guide you step by step. Later on, some tutorials from Gnomon, Eat3D, Digital Tutors or 3dMotive always help. As soon as you feel comfortable, create a thread on polytcount and start posting.
