Why is there no benefit? Why is all this secrecy neccesary, these are games not weapons of mass destruction. I cant see any good reason for the secrecy except for that they like it that way. -

lol I'm using maya on mac machine at work (ATI graphics) with no trouble (except for those magic moments when you forgot to save your day) -

thanks, everything except footprints and insects is procedural. I think the insects are so small, they could be done procedurally easily, the footprints would be a bit more complicated -

Except that most studios use Maya as their standard 3d package and don't want to buy licenses for max on top of it. Max is better but learn maya just in case. -

The levels in MW2 were awful though (QUARRY I HATE YOU!). I like all the levels in Black Ops, except for Firing Range, Radiation and WMD.
