From stepped mode to linear. Refining the breakdowns and adding some more details. Still a lot to do with the arcs and pops. Haven't started to work on the spacing yet. I'll upload a test in LOL camera tomorrow.
Love this dude! I like the new hand position, perhaps you could push the arcs/angles of his left hand a bit more to show the pressure being put on it- my 2cents. Great work!
Thanks man, and jesus that's a cool image. It really goes to show the milkiness of the eye under that much light, must have hurt to take that picture. Also, I really like the way it presents the iris. Thanks for that.
http://www.indygear.com/ The above is a great resource for Indy's clothing and equipment. I own most of it all IRL, so I like seeing Indy get a little modern attention. He's all but forgotten these days.
thank you that does make it easier and there are 5 left Goblin Techies Abyssal Underlord Soul Keeper Arc Warden Winter Wyvern And the flood of New heroes from the workshop once valve is done with the 5
Hah yeah I saw this at the movies the other night. It's a pretty cool ad. The only thing that slightly irks me is the fact that it seemingly features intentionally bad animation in an attempt to sell it to the audience that its a videogame.
I'd hit both of 'em mate. In the first one, seems like there's a big difference between the eyes in how much white of the eye is visible below the iris. It kind of leapt out at me. Nice stuff.
You can drive joints with a blendshape if it makes authoring easier. There's an old article on gamasutra about gears of war(iirc) that describes doing it but it's basically the same principle as turning any sim mesh into a skeletal animation
Looks good. I've seen some artist who do untextured sculpts like this sculpt in the iris and pupil. One of those freebie models in zbrush lightbox has an example of that. Gives the characters more personality.
Max 2010 have something called "Texture Map" baking iirc, you can bake all kinda of special maps like SSS, Dust, Density and Cavity. In Max 2009- you need Polyboost.
