I was looking at reference and I found this weapon. I thought it was pretty cool so I decided to model it for my reel. Here is the blockout. I'm trying to get the modeling done in a week, then texture it.
Hi there! Couple days ago I decided to pick up one of my tank sketches and go forward with it. Currently I am in blockout phase, so I'm quite open to suggestions and critique
Hey i decided to create a Anime Girl in two ways. first i wanna do a game mesh, and secondly a printable mesh :) Here is my Blockout! c&c is very welcome!
Progress so far. This is just the blockout mesh where I'll start adding armor and boots/gloves on. But yeah, modelled the hair out, that im going to keep =3=
Blockout is ready. Gonna start detailing soon. And after that, going to armed him with his War Machete and Army Carbine. Hope i could model them. :) EDIT:
@mihalceanu Great blockout, the shapes should be really easily readable. The buttons on the front might blur into one though, so maybe just go full on gold for them.
Started with some basic props in my free time to practice baking ( quite a hassle while I get how my hard the edges should be :# ) and progress the blockout.
Yeah, to echo above, lots of concept artists use a basic blockout in 3D to get the perspective and proportions laid out before painting over. It's a fairly common practice.
That is a pretty good blockout, the only thing that I feel isn't quite the same is the depth of the ground piece that holds the water. I feel that section should be a bit lower.
