Ok gold is weird. It's colour is actually all driven by specular, and is one of the only materials that exhibits a coloured specular. http://www.webexhibits.org/causesofcolor/9.html So what you actually want to do for it is paint it as if it is reflective chrome, but tinted orangey green. -

Yeah, I've had lots of pros at studios get super butt-hurt over crits, asked for or not. Lets just say the real world isn't like Polycount. People dont expect honesty, they're looking for praise 9/10 times. -

not sure if someone has same problem, but when I export model from max 2012 in obj, in marmoset it looks like one big mess, problem can be solved by adjusting vertex precision to 9 or lower and checking normals optimise checkbox -

Its a good idea, but not very useful. I mean We could make that chair in about 20 secs, rather than the 9 mins it took him. Even if he wasn't narrating and just modeling it would take 5 times as long -

When I was young around age 8 or 9 we were moving with one of those budget trucks with the automatic lift on the back. I was playing around with the switch and got my foot caught between the metal lift and the back edge of the truck. -
