No problem, that was my interpretation of it, anyway. It might've had something to do with the fact that they were all "sharing" a dream by use of the sedative that puts them all to sleep and allows them to "share" dreams. It might be that limbo isn't entirely universal (shared even by those not sharing a chemical…
Hello guys. I want to try myself in creating characters and i am interested in stylization, like in the projects ZZZ. Please share resources, tips and experience in creating such characters from scratch. How to make clothes for them and other possible things that may be useful in this matter. Thank you for your attention.
I forgot to share something. Sometime before I started sculpting Anura and her frog, I sculpted a bust of my favorite Nikke (Mihara) to practice. http://youtube.com/shorts/uSgP8KqCSYs?si=gWo0VJz_Uwifdjv6 I also used it as an excuse to learn how to render stuff in Blender.
Hey, guys! This project was developed during the Savage Art Academy Mentorship, and I couldn’t be happier to finally share it! The main goal here was to push my skills to the next level and refine my entire workflow. Mirai (未来) Shift is set in a dystopian near future, where people spend most of their lives immersed in the…
Hey @v13r1, congrats on finishing! My critique would be that the roughness/glossiness seems out of hand, particularly on the exterior. To me this makes it look like everything has a coating. I would recommend looking at real world reference image and potentially use scanned materials, either as a base or reference when…
Hey everyone. I'll keep this relatively brief for now! I am looking for someone to help me complete the design of a piece of complicated furniture I am working on. However, I will need any perspective designers to sign an NDA before I share too much information about the job. I am looking for someone with expertise in…

Generally that's something you'd do for hard-surface items. It's beneficial when you've got quite sharp edges in the low poly mesh because it means the normal map has less "work" to do - it doesn't have to account for a rapid change in surface normal. Edges with a 90 degrees or sharper can be problematic even for properly…
back again with more updates! First, Lute string appearance! BEFORE...... and ...... AFTER need to make it either A- stand out more or B- make it less busy easy to read. will figure that out when I have the video demo... second, CUT SCENES I Now have to pick between two different looks, sharp shadows or a faded stone look.…
Hey Roxanne! I would definately try to add the text. I think it would be hard trying to match the right height of the text by just painting on the normal map and by modeling it you can get it just right. Plus I think it would just be easier. You can turn off the turbosmooth modifiers on you objects to make your system run…
