I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I am nearing the point of wanting to build a portfolio site, but have no idea really how to create or run my own website, i know there is a link on the forums for a quick portfolio site, is that really the best way or are there other options? Thanks!
Does anyone else have trouble with the notifications menu on the mobile site? It opens up, but it does it 90% off the screen. I might not be on the mobile site maybe?
Is it for College for Creative Studies? I have to admit, it does strike me funny that a professor would reference a site called poopingmymouth, even if it IS a good reference site ;)
This is a good site for a 3DS Max crash course. http://lounge.ego-farms.com/ you can also look at Poops site for modeling and texturing tutorials. www.poopinmymouth.com Alex
It's prolly rite under my nose, but i cant seem to find a link to that site that had listings of all known game studios/publishers across north america with links to their respective sites (possible the world? cant recall) Any help would be most apreciative
I think it's just a case of not updating that page on their site. I've got a bunch of friends that were let go from there at the time. It was scaled back for a while, but it doesn't show up on F9E studio's site anymore.
Site isn't loading for me, tested in chrome & firefox, but it just is stuck on a white screen/loading forever. The images in these thread (wich seem to be hosted on your site) are working fine, so not sure what is going on.
My advice, get a degree from a relatively inexpensive school. This can be valuable and useful it doesn't exactly matter what it's in. But, it's a degree. For your skills, teach yourself on site such polycount and other good tutorial sites.
artwork looks nice. your little underground mine thing reminds me of lord of the rings online. as for the site itself... if thats actually your portfolio, ditch the blog style... Its not suitable for a portfolio site.
