Welcome to polycount =) ...but maturity is. You seem to have some skill and some maturity so I think you'll get along fine. =) I didn't bother reading the brick-o-text at the top but it looks like you could use some pointers on creating UV's and making materials?
Good progression, it's coming along. The barb wire is far too uniform though in the latest update. Also, not sure if this will be something you do entirely in the texture(s), but it seems kind of strange having a heavily damaged brick/concrete pillar when everything else seems in very good condition.
I've had bad experiences with Toshiba brand drives, whereas WD can take a beating and maintain its integrity. Love WD drives. It didn't really brick, I dont think. The HDD malfunctioned, and all data on-board was lost, as well as becoming unusable. "Shit happens" as they say.
Nope! New Quote time! Girl: I eat all four food groups, and look both ways before crossing the street... and take long naps...and get disciplined? Man: Disciplined? Girl: Yeah! She disciplines me real good. Sometimes five times a day! With bricks!
bounchfx: Thanks! On 8.5x11 sheets of paper I use the side of my pencil, but the figures I used a 6B graphite brick for shading. suburbbum: Thanks a ton, bro! Yeah, there was a lot that piled up. Hoping to do music and art without letting the other take over. Is that possible? Also:
Way too crazy-bumpy, Hammed. The roof tops look paper thin and the color needs to be re-evaluated. Even just bringing it more in line with the concept colors would help you. Those bricks look soft and squishy. Not like rock. Keep banging on this. Maybe send it to jason?
I have one, I'll shoot you a PM. edit: for what it's worth, I switched to ING last month and I really dig them a bunch. I'm going with a local credit union here in Providence just to have a brick and mortar bank, but ING is my main account.
I'm on a tiny keyboard kick. The 61 key type. I love all of the extra desk space and I barely miss the numpad, arrow keys and giant brick of useless keys. http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/index.php/products/mechanical-keyboard/wasd-vp3-61-key-custom-mechanical-keyboard.html
You can drag the origin of a marquee selection or line by holding down space before releasing the mouse click. You can find an exact rotational angle by dragging the measure tool along a line (say brick morter) and then going to image, rotate, arbitrary. It will fill in the exact degree for you.
I like how the tessellation is clearly just fan service :) The tech looks great, but it's funny to see it applied on assets clearly not made for it (the tire tracks on the muddy terrain, and the concrete panels with their reverse seam hehe). Yay for brick walls! The reflections, accurate shadows and bokeh all look great!
