IDK, you are going to need it either way, so why not show them you can do it? it's designed to make your life easier and you will most likely have to use it. It's like not knowing basic art theory at that point.
This might depend on which application. For Unreal/Unity, I'd probably say yes, and that it would most likely cause issues in other programs. Maya for example, uses a few different "styles" for overlays, and the viewport is completely idle if nothing is playing.
Thanks Gazu ! I can assure you this is correct. This image comes from Agisoft Photoscan documentation pdf. And from what I've tried it really works. It's because Agisoft gets most of the depth from the parallax between shots.
D: lol not World of Warcraft... a "wow factor" meaning when someone sees it they say "Wow, I have never seen that before! That is cool!" Just because it is something that is original. and referring to your last question... idk. just not scifi. ;)
Here is the small scene environment I'm working on. The zombie will be creeping towards her. Do you have any crits on the texturing, the lighting or just the setup ? It would help. Maybe I added too much grass, idk lol
They didn't take it out, they just explained it better. Pieces of rock irradiated by his Krypton's sun is poisonous to him because his metabolism is accustomed to ours. It's not scientifically bullet proof, but it's better than "it just hurts him lol idk."
Almost done with the higher poly version of the same character for another class. I just have to model his hands. I have them blocked in for now. This character has to be unwrapped, textured, skinned, and have an idle animation for Monday.
Sometimes art tests are suppose to be personal, do they allow your WIP to be posted on forums? I would be certain before you continue. The model looks a tad wide from that perspective, but it could be my eyes fooling me, idk.
I'm not seeing pictures in your last two posts, idk if its just on my end or not. I got to them with help of firebug, so here are links for those that might not see them: 1st 2nd Beautiful Nami btw :)
Few changes on the face and finishing the skin. Idk why but her right arm looks wierd and dont know how to fix it. Also put some barrels and boxes as foreground to try to lead the eyes to her. Critiques always welcomed.
