Hi there, I'm working on this old and damaged room, it's only a WIP, but it would be to me really useful got some feedback from your, so what do you think ? Thx a lot, Mates.
Thanks! after I finish modeling all the parts I will start sculpting, I will add imperfections and damage, I do not have much experience in it yet, so I'm also curious =)
@Rangaros she's real fun for aggressive play styles, a lot of her abilities are about initiating fights and dealing damage, her little ground drone is great for distracting people too
yea you can stab people with sledge hammers in Chiv so wouldn't worry too much about it :) The damage inconsistencies a flat point used as a piercing attack are probably not that much of an issue
Wow, impressive scene! fireplace coming along nicely. How do you go about making the plaster, like the ceiling? Is it one big texture or how did you do the damages?
Thanks  It's all about finding a proper value of a base color and a base roughness and adding some variations on top of it + rust made using curvature map + subtle dots and damage details
Good article. Felt like he was attempting a lot of damage control from the way he used to carry himself in the past. Fair play to him for saying this. He's absolutely right. Fantastic.
Heres some progress in the clip of the weapon, bullet still using bases. would love critiques, i tried to add functional damage based on how the clip makes contact whith the gun
This turned out pretty nice. I'd say the only real thing it's missing is some plastic sun damage and edge highlights to make it pop ever a little bit more, but this is strong regardless.
Cool, but what about texturing? Where dDo or substance painter involved? Also, I think the cuts look fine for a stylized prop. Stylized damage shouldn't be too realistic anyway, right?
