Eric .. after some sleep and a cup of tea, nearly all of my other issues have been solved with a reinstall of Quixel and uninstalling Avast. Just creating an exclusion didn't seem to be enough
Hi, Do you mean to move your object only by interacting with the pivot? I think you can't, the only way is to switch between Q and W shortcuts, as Eric Chadwick suggested.
@Eric: Sweet. I wasn't even aware how widespread (or not) that kind of stuff was actually. Talk to one dude and it's 'sweeping the industry'. The next guy says it's a fad. Thanks for giving some info on that
Thanky you for replies Monster, Eric I just wondering how the bones converted to editable poly ? I did not recognized even a bit, while rigging the model. It just happened to me.....
@Eric Chadwick I see that now, I just finished the asset I was having that trouble with and in the end the roughness level and base color covered the bands up anyway :P Thanks for the input!
You can set the preview resolution, which will speed things up quite a lot. Also Quixel 2.0 which will be available soon has a huge performance boost. Thanks for moving Eric
Eric can you layer it with a shader? Make two maps one with the mountains and on with the roads and just have the road height carve slighting into the mountains? Maybe make the roads be like a decal? Alex
Hey Eric!! That kiosk turned out really good dude. I still think you should have some color variations in it, but I love it anyways. Welcome to PC, about time! :)
What Eric said. You might want to experiment with the Ink 'n' Paint shader. It's pretty interesting and fun to play around with! ;) F1 is your best friend! (Not Formula 1 racing btw).
eric, all the scripts i have tried seem to work fine, havent had any problems with them. they have also all been macroscripts, havent tried any ms files.
