Try going for 2x8GB modules so you can upgrade later to 32gb. Depending on your work 32gb of ram could come handy. If you want to work as a games artist I'd recommend a better GPU. On my dual screen setup at work, I have an 18x12" intuos. to make up for the extra res on the side, I have it mapped about a quarter of the way to the other screen where I have my palette and tool windows placed for photoshop and bodypaint. What i did for skin refs, was i have the video game, and i hooked it up to my video card, and i can take screen caps. And since the area of where i took the screen caps was like a desert [the collosium entrance btw], its a little brownish in the areas its supposed to be grey.
