Hi Polycount forum, I am modeling a tent. In Unreal, I want to animate the fabric, but my problem is that I don’t know how to model this shape since I’ve never made a form like this before and I also plan to add a small amount of thickness to the cloth. I’d appreciate any help with this. Will the topology I sketched in red…
Wooooooow, this is stunning! Gorgeous work! As they say "devils in the details" and the details here are epic! =) I'd love to see some WIP shots. One can learn a lot from those. :) How did you do those control panels? With the interact buttons. They look really cool!
useage, finger prints, ink usually starts leaking? could add that anyway at least it happens to my pens after a while, wood grain more grainy, the indents of the wood are very soft looking. I slam the pen when it has the cap on so that pristine tip of the pencap would be "warped" a bit. And i break the pen cap fin usually…
Hi! I recently started learning marvelous designer, and I'm already got stuck on basic controls. I can't for the life of me figure out how to drag and select multiple objects in 3d view! It says right here in the manual: But no matter what I try, it doesn't work. Selection rectangle doesn't appear. I can only click on…

It looks like they didn't add / couldn't add / didn't know how to add a gloss map / specular map or something though, which is why it looks kind of like stormtrooper armour in the previews. That being said, it looks like they spent quite a lot of time on it, and…
Beautiful work Wiktoria! I can only imagine all the hard work you put into this. I do agree with the fly away hair feedback from Erih - some breakup would really add to the realism of this. Did you hand place all hair cards manually, or did you use any cool tools you'd like to spotlight? How did you organize your work with…
Sweet, this is great. Are you open to feedback? A couple things I noticed: * Some of the grooves in the ice seem to be bumped outwards rather that bumped inwards. * It would be nice to have some ice dust/chips on the props. * Glove shadows are looking clipped, might help to add an interior mesh.
alright dammit reports of my death may not be greatly exaggerated, but i'm not dead. :) http://www.gausswerks.com/ just busy with the infernal art of level design, for which i have finished my new portfolio for. wouldn't look too closely at some of the screenshots if you don't want to spoil some of the coolest locations in…
