well i could use a tool like ythat to make sure edges arer perfectly straight but i dont really like the look. it just ends up looking waaay tooo stiff and artificial and lifeless. i dont know how else to describe it, i cant stand it. i wish i knew how to render things out better. i dont think these colors r working, feels… -

I finally have to skin some character for a Doujin team -_-... They want to work with Maya... Then I developed my skin tools on Maya!... Basically for a low poly model I don't need the paint tool... I lost my time and I already know each weight value for each vertex. Then it's more quick for me to do that manually!… -

I think you are looking for an automatic LOD generator. Multi-res in 3dmax , Decimate in Blender, Maya has something too. As well as a few game engines themselves. But Imo neither of them work perfectly right to have a perfect polyflow and no shading artifacts. Thus manual retopology tools are so common. Those tools works… -

You can use the branch tool in the polydraw toolbox of 3Dsmax...it allows to create branches quickly by extruding face around the trunk or whatever geo you want. That way you avoid seams if you really don't them. You can also use that tool for the smaller branch, although you'll have more control if you create 2 / 3… -
