@Eric Chadwick Oh dang, thanks for the tip! I'll definitely keep that in mind for the future, I totally spaced on that one. Went ahead and uploaded a lower res of the moss mother at least!
Hi Eric, Thanks for replying. I'm actually using a targa but Ddo converts it to a png. I'm on the road this morning. But will be back later this afternoon and will try the sample file then. Thanks again. -Brandon
He said he was working with maya, Eric. But I agree with flat geometry shading badly, not sure how you could change it in Maya though. I'm totally new to maya.
Eric: you might also want to put it into your signature, so people see it on the forums as well? It seems to me that nobody can claim ownership of the wiki as much as you can!
HAHAHA! We are always passing around pics like this at work. When I hit the dudes with this site, I'll be set for my entire career at this studio! Awesome find, Eric. -caseyjone
Hi, thanks Eric. I did some tests and I found that baking in 2010 removes the problem using the daylight system. Mime, thanks for the tip. and yes, its a gameloft test ;) )
wow, You have to admit AD are turning their rep around recently. Especially with people like Ken taking the time to talk to users, and give straight answers. Thanks for posting this Eric
Thanks @Eric Chadwick you've convinced me, i was thinking on going back to the A pose but no, my reasoning is that if the result of the project its going to be a 3d print, maybe i should sculpt for the pose. thanks.
Cool Eric, I've never actually clicked the Spline Map button - learn something new every day :) Iliadis: you've already got a thread for this - you should keep it contained to the one thread.
Thanks - I kind of figured I'd be adjusting manually but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a neat trick. Eric - tried constraints straight off but they didn't help me - thanks tho. :)
