Working under "Senior material artist" title in a racing game I can say I mostly do materials in Substance Designer from photogrammetry I shoot myself ,my own custom nodes and Gaea . We have Quixel megascan subscribtion but I hardly use theirs at all to be honest. Most of materials looks repeating as hell in a racing game… -

It's a terminology mess still existing in different 2d compositing and content creation apps. What they call "geometric surface normals" Blender calls face normals for example . Its 1080P, so while its 27", you don't get any extra real estate over even a 22" or so, you just get bigger pixels. Okay if you want a larger screen to move the monitor further from you, but doesn't make any sense to upgrade from a smaller monitor with the same pixel count, aside from the obvious benefits of an IPS panel… -

Because of the grid nature of pixels in a texture. None of your window edges will be perfectly straight on your texture, so you will see the aliasing in pixels there (even filtered AA doesn't look that clean).
