Does anybody know of a site that gives tutorials to learn iray? It doesnt seem to want to work properly whenever I try to use it as everything ends up being really dark even with lights in the scene. Thanks:)

AFAIK if using mental ray and an salf illumination is there it will shine, may need to beef up the output of the self illum. though to get it to do anything.
