I still use photoshop to create stencils and such for Designer and Painter - as I so far have not fonud a way to create text in Substance Designer or drawing straight lines in Substance painter (without using a ruler on my graphics tablet) -

Just did a test run on my new wacom tablet. Within the first 1 hour of working with it in Mudbox I produced this cool Elder Scrolls Inspired "Dragon Stone" floor tile. I hope you guys like it. :) -

Do you have photoshop running in the background? I have been getting very weird crashes lately on Vista64 - both Z and Mud crash if CS3 runs behind them, as soon as the stylus hits the tablet (mouse is fine) -

Go to Edit>Prefs On the default options screen("common")go down to the checkbox that says "Graphic Tablet" which should be checked. Right next to it is something that says "Hi def Coordinates" or something like that. uncheck that. should be better now. -

Some of the melodies are cool, but the mixing and eq have a bit to be desired. blah19 was really cool, could use some percussion, but really nice otherwise. i've been writing electronic music for a long time. It would work a bit but then you get into pattern recognition. With a tablet, I can tap-tap-tap very fast and create these random shapes. I also do a bit of rotation if I find an edge on the star is too close to horizontal or vertical. -

Drawing well isn't easy but you don't have to go to school for it. Get a sketchbook and draw on your free time, even if it's just a few minutes while your computer is tied up with baking. It's great, it's like using a lag-free tablet.
