Not sure if this is the appropriate sub-forum to ask this question, however would anyone know a fair quote for 20 illustrations all done within a month? I'm fairly terrible at giving quotes and still trying to grasp what competitive pricing would be for something like this. Is there some sort of magical formula that I…
Photo Reference Pack: Indian Summer Download on Artstation I had a very small window to capture these magic moments in Canada. This pack features landscapes and waterscapes of the Indian Summer in Montreal and the Mount St. Bruno. Nature is on fire and the lakes reflect its wisdom.
90% of game interviews are just e-mail blasts. I transcribed it to be conversational on purpose. I think a lot of people don't realize that this is how game design / level design gets done -- you just talk about it, then make it and test it. There's no magic involved.
Yeah Magic... I hear ya... I am seeing quite a huge difference in the brightness I guess it is. Not really the color I would say.. Since if ones super bright and ones not then it will look like the colors off but it's just the brightness I guess.
100% this. Also, the melee combat looks a tad slow for my taste. the magic casting looks fantastic and a great speed, but ya, melee seems a bit slow. I would have to play it to feel how it plays though. Lookin forward to playing this one.
Magic 8-Ball says...signs point toward yes. Marvel vs. Disney vs. Star Wars? ... ...okay, that actually sounds pretty awesome. The only problem is that I don't know of any studios that EA has that would be a good fit for such a game.
You're not done yet man!! This thing has so much potential to be pushed even further! Work that texture magic dude and it'll be awesome, Here I did a quick painty to give you some ideas. Look at my crappy PS skills!!
I appreciate the criticsm. Thanks for the shortening too. I did never expect to sit down and simply do magic. I was possibly just impatient in some places. Im trying the best what I can do now- to get better- and better.
you can use the displacement mapping as fake AO.. works pretty decently actually, but as mop said, you can't really expect crazybump to vomit out pure magic. you have to supply it with proper data and adjust your settings for the most benefit.
Ah wasn't thinking about the dpi thanks for reminding me, the image is grayscale so probably don't need to change to CMYK - does it make a difference? I did a search and found a program called magic tracer but it's not free so will look into inkscape too.
