Haha' I know the video, watched it a couple of times even. And it's not that bad, maybe I exaggerated it a bit :p What I notice is, that this video is surprisingly easy to work to, quite soothing. Just had it playing in the background for like 2 minutes and it relaxed my mind while working :o
Either way the project looks good everything I said was really just nit picking to help push it some more. and relax alot of 3d artists (that i know of) are afraid of foliage and its just hard to get organics to look really good. but you did a good job
No they are still there, you can click them etc but it just doesn't do anything. The relax for example still works, but by the same token, the flatten doesn't. It still allows me to click it etc. I'll just go and check I am still in face sub object mode and reply back :)
I like it! She needs more hips though. The top of her upper legs are unnaturally thin. She also stands in a very stiff pose. Maybe relaxing her a little helps. Spread the legs a little bit, bend the knees and make the back a little bit hollow/arched.
I think the weekend mid day would be easier for everyone , gives people time to relax from the week, can book a restaurant for the day time and it wont get crazy packed (Since its like a mid day sat/sunday) And no one has to worry about work etc.
watched germany against poland with a mix of german, french and polish people. well i was there for the barbecue really, the fact that "my" team won seemingly easily helped to stay completely relaxed and focus on chatting and drinking and mocking the other side instead. can't say i've seen much of the match... ;)
Thanks Pete :) There is no special rig on that orc, ik arms and ik legs. Just relaxed every lumb on him and animated alot of folow trough on the death animation. Next up is more realistic animation, and fps animation. New school project here, and we are aiming something like the metro games ^^
Yup this happened with me when I used Hedus and max. I love headus but after trying to fix the breaking uvs I tossed it and now do uvs in max or blender. It takes some getting used to but its just that, a question of keeping at it. But then again I find uv work relaxing.
Man, this is awesome. Fury's the best! Tho it doesn't resemble any scene of the film, it looks great and atmospheric. I liked the Processor too - great assimetrical level design. I never had the chance to take a relaxed look at the Nostromo, but the modelling shown here is concise and looks straight out of the film!
@Gadorian Looking really peaceful, I want to relax there :D I agree with Odow though, the barrel may be a bit too yellow, currently. @Odow thanks ^-^ @Bishop313 Nice sculpt. I know you're moving on to retopo already but it feels like his belt is missing a buckle at the moment :P
