I'm fast losing steam with this one, I've just been working on getting some okay-ish textures in for the hand in on the 26th but whatever I do the whole thing just seem to look like crap, so yeah C+C, last section is obviously placeholder lol
Agreed with Mats Effect - the block out looks good (though I hope you're planning on breaking up the dead/empty space in the middle with some props). The bricks could be worked on some more. Turning down the reflectivity would be a great start but they could use some more attention in general. If you're going for a urban…
This really is an asset specific and artist specific question. How fast are you at modeling? How fast can you retop a model? How fast can you build in Zbrush? Proxy/blockout and simultaneous high low can be lightning fast. Zbrush high sculpt or boolean and retop can also be fast. As Oglu says, it really depends. It's…
Hello all. I'm finishing Character modeling project and I'm setting up my final renders in Arnold Maya. Any feedback regarding composition, lighting, errors, or anything else you notice would be greatly appreciated. Here are the renders I have so far: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xDRB1E
i guess i don't play games much these days but i cant remember the last time I really looked at an actors face in a game. Maybe a few huge AAA blockbusters like uncharted, but besides that you hardly register characters beyond a small silhouette you are shooting at or clicking on, right? Work that should definitely be…
These are freaking fantastic. I grew up on disney movies. Blast from the past, and now I want to go through and rewatch them all. *sniff* thank you!! Slash holy crap. you are turning these out so bloody fast!!! How are you doing the painitng? just within zbrush?
Haha thanks guys! I was also inspired by cobra snake head shape so I'm glad you noticed it. As for modeling I guess I'm pretty fast, I've started this last Thursday and I'm not working in this fulltime. I'm just feeling inspired to do some subdv modeling :-) that's all
There is also a reg fix called FixMyWacom that allows quick and fast removal of annoying W7 pen features that can affect performance. I had removed most of those by hand but the fix removed the last remnants of microsoft garbage for me. Depending on your configuration you might want to google that up.
I seriously cannot understand how this shit works. If you can broadcast a show, paid for entirely with commercials on the TV, then why can't you do the same on the web? In fact, on the web you can stop them from fast-forwarding through commercials! It should be even better for the owners of the shows.
One level per day? Thats insane. Some of those levels look vast when he's swinging through them. I can't begin to imagine how you could have knocked them out so fast. Care to give any tips on your DS environment workflow?
