Awwww yeah thread action! It's great to see progression pics of the full thing all in one place, you don't quite get that sense for how it's all coming along from the streams. Subbed ofc :D
With that much rain, water should be streaming off the buildings, virtual rivers from roof corners or overhangs. I'd also expect reflections almost everywhere from the water. The water logged papers shouldn't be white but grey.
Spent some time making those textures in Designer and now I am having texture streaming issues in UE4 not to mention my GPU overheating :/ I have no idea how to fix the weird noise everywhere.
Thanks @viktor_kiseliov! I'll have a few more streams as I work to complete it. Thank you @splicer! The design is one of my favorite mechs in GITS. The refueling chopper looks awesome too but there's not much reference available
I think the scene would be enhanced if the streams of light were coming at less of an angle so more of the light hits the robot. Pushing the angle of the light down a bit might add to the flat lighting on the model currently.
Mik2121 I asked Wiktor, same thing the other day during one of his streams. I sent him a screenshot of my license screen and apparently it shouldn't be that way, so guys at Quixel are looking into it now.
Yeah water shaders should prove interesting and I have no idea about the buoyancy part... Might be one of those things where I need to jump on epics twitch.tv stream to see if its even doable. :\
Yep. I thought it was a bit thin on real information but it was definitely well executed. Could very well be the intro to a videogame. Since I hate streaming, here's a download link: http://www.knife-party.net/movs/barry.mov
Start to build various decor for the environment. Finished texturing stone post holding the giant pine cone. Layered in tile and concrete materials using Substance Painter. Added weathering using liquid stream Particle brush.
I didn't see Phil Collins Land of Confusion on there either And you're right Asherr, definetely a VH1 sounding setup to this, and very cool at that! I don't know where else you'd be able to stream half these videos.
