They take time to respond back because they get thousands of applicants. Wait a week or two to follow up. Just relax until then. Just be aware that if you apply to several places they might all respond at once with an art test which can leave you in a bit of a dilemma. Alex
I like days like I had this weekend; got work done on the cuda, was able to help my parents with some projects, met with friends, was able to sleep in, weather was nice... I felt like I'd accomplished something with my time, and still had a relaxing evening.
thx i got some clay (or plasticine? thx to rens for pushing me;) ) last week, made me some tools and doodled around outside in the sun with some coffee. it feels great working with clay, its relaxing - you feel everything directly. calling him dude:
What do you mean no control? Some friends have the flight stick controls and it's great with this. I don't so I use the xbox controller. I switch all settings to easy so it's like flying in a GTA game. So smooth. Feels great in VR. Very relaxing :)
since that's the case it could also be gpu/driver related. What gpu are you using? Any issues with cpu baking such as xNormal? I took a peek at the HP in max and it looked fine for me.
Hey @Eric Chadwick i used a whole lot of references of sculpts, bot not a human ecorche like the one you posted, thanks for that, helps me with some mistakes before i collapse and for muscle fiber direction, any tip for relaxed/contracted muscles on posed figures? Thanks.
Feels like it's being held at the butt and forced to run on a treadmill. And its head motion's in reverse. Try it. It doesn't feel relaxing (per se) to nod like that while running. And ditto on Blaken's post. (casual comment: the preview frame for the video looks like the horse's on noclip :poly122: )
Well here is some more refinement to textures and posing. The poses are still rough (dangling bits aren't placed and there are penetrating areas) but I could use some input on the overall pose and textures. I made two poses since I wanted a relaxed pose and dynamic pose.
first WIP EDIT : quickly corrected the strange shoulders EDIT 2 : correct me if i'm wrong, but I just figured out that the pectorals aren't good mainly because the clavicles are pointing in the wrong direction, they are going up but the shoulders are in a relaxed position, which seems illogic to me
I'm with jesse on DeepUV there. If my UVs are extreme, like huge chunks for minimizing seams, UVHelp or Max's relax will twist some of the edges around and around, but DeepUV handles them OK. If the mesh has acute angles in geometry space, Max/UVHelp both give me trouble.
