Thank you all for the various methods. I think there is simply no way to do it without inset, and deleting the lines afterwards will cause issues--so having 2 extra lines shouldn't be a problem.
Its a practice piece, i don't have the skill yet to be able to make things for games. Thanks for the advise, i'm still getting used to the 3DS Max interface and what it can do. The actual tank i was using was this:
like the dragonball Live action, Gi-Joe live action, Mortal kombat (2) live action,Street fighter live action, tank girl ,king of fighters live action and water world. We just dont talk about it.
Depends on what we are talking about. If it's just a simple prop like a chair or a water bottle etc. i will take a look at one, two photos and eyeball it. If it's something like a tank then i collect blueprints and hundreds of photos of every detail.
A funny and also rather difficult read. Some parts of that I'd love to see in a movie (tanks flying out of explosions within explosions). Awesome interpretation of what a Bay script would potentially look like. Thanks for the share, Rick. -caseyjones
wow thank you all for the kind words. Once again i have to say sorry, i can't talk about any details like textures size, polycount, shader and so on. Also i won't post any wires or ao screens.. I will show later with part 2 just some hires highpoly renders, so you can see more of the work i did for this game, many details…
thank you very much ! and yeah i realized that i made it way to low poly, btw i have 3 new questions(sorry if i'm asking for to much help), i noticed this and at first i fought it was ok but after a bit it looked odd, i think this part didnt bake well, See ? i made some mistake and i cant figure out what it was but if you…
I did two interviews (remotely). The first one was with the studio co-owner and art director. We mostly talked about my hard surface portfolio which is where my resumé links to. He did briefly touch on the characters and suggested that it was a positive to have someone who could switch to doing characters if needed. I've…
