Working much better. One thing I did discover though is if you go to options while playing, and choose full screen, it doesn't go to full screen. It tells me it's enabled, and it was, but not until after I closed the game and started it again.
Gauss, its not nonsensical. Its a texture and it is mega, I fail to see how you miss the logic. The future plan is to make some optimazations so it can be renamed a TURBOMEGATEXTURE but these optimations may come in two stages to enable it to be eventually called a HYPERTURBOMEGATEXTURE.
Here's some tips Since this concept artist is brilliant and obviously started from a 3D sketch, you can pretty much align everything perfectly (as you can see.) The way I have it set up is I have a Camera Map (WSM) modifier on top of every mesh object's stack. If you naively set this up as a 100% self-illuminated diffuse…
Okay I have some updates on this! Initially my plan was to use the 12WX along with a virtual keyboard app (preferably better than the default one!) so I started hunting around. The best solution I found so far is Touch-It: http://www.chessware.ch/virtual-keyboard/index.php However it does not support dual screen setups,…
ok although you dont need this I will post it anyway because I prepared it anyway so: here is a code snippet that will read out your texture vertex points if you have a UVWunweap modifiert attached:obj = selection[ 1 ];if (classof (modPanel.getCurrentObject()) == Unwrap_UVW) then ( local uv = selection[1].modifiers[…
Idk it feels like there arent any self reflections but in some places i can clearly see the model being reflected correctly. Maybe it has to do with the way toolbag does SSR. Is GI enabled both diffuse and specular?
For your first question, if you just want to see the selected with wires instead of the whole scene, I'd recommend setting a hotkey to "Display Selected with Edged Faces". When enabled this will make it so only the selected mesh will show with wires.
With automatic LODs (which I believe are enabled by default...?) I was getting heavy FPS drops. Are you sure that's the best solution? =o Is there any tweaking I should do to improve the performance of UE4 embedded LODs system? =0
When you created the racetrack with a spline you can enable the 3d display mode and set it to a rectangular shape. Then turn on the "generate mapping coordinates" checkbox. The created UVs will create a good base and you wont have to adjust it much.
If you go System > Form Editor: Click Find Form (Then click the F on the side to enable search) "Basic" it brings up a list, right click on the one in Tool Bars > modo Tools > Basic, and there should be an option Assign to Key.
