Ok, without wading too deeply into the heavy discussion going on here, lemme just make one point... No two artists have the exact same style. Don't bother bringing up examples, I won't change my mind :p I believe a person's style is just as unique to them as a fingerprint. Yes, some of us do stuff that looks very similar… -

s'not that many guns... I'm no expert so i'll leave that too the big boys but the 1911 seems too colorfull to me. typically you'd have the metal one shade and then the grip would be either wood like you've got or a dark plastic? the two toned metal just doesn't look right. -

Thanks for the comments guys. ScoobyDoofus - Yeah, I got his permission a while back, but just now started to work on it. Thanks for the advice too, as "getting sick of it" is usually my biggest problem. I hope to complete an asset or two a week after class and work, and try not to push myself too hard with it. -

@Fabi_G Looking great! Two suggestions I'd maybe have is to extrude the roof a bit, maybe? Having the main tile surface as just a plane does stand out on the edges a fair bit. Even though the reference is fairly flat too, adding just a bit of depth would help, I think! Wouldn't add too many extra polys either, I imagine.… -

She's lacking in the pelvis area (too short), and torso is over sized compared to concept and the overall shape (top heavy). (I went a little bit too far on the hips and narrow figure here but you get the idea) Except those two flaws it looks pretty fine to me :) -

This looks really nice and the Warhammer feel is definitely there! ^^ Only two things that bother me is the gold hue could do with a bit more orange to match the reference and your axes blade has too much wear and tear for my taste. Other than that the presentation is looking good too ^^ -

Her one eye looks a wee bit too far to the side of the head, maybe bring it in a couple pixels. and her boobs look like they're on an invisible shelf. those two crits aside, I think its a sweet update, good way to show your progress, too. -

Looks great! The only thing I'd have to say is this. That random volumetric godray really stands out for no reason, and it is coming through a solid object. Just looks wrong. Also, since winter is my favorite season and I get alot of the white stuff up here, I find your snow too flat. It lacks volume and just looks like…
