Played it for a couple hours tonight, here are my thoughts: Overall, very good, but not as good as RE4. Where I would probably give RE4 a 10/10, so far RE5 would score a "mere" 9/10 with me ;) I miss the "what are ya sellin?" guy. They should have made him a regular part of the series. I reaalllly like this game so far... the side quests are all enjoyable and Albion feels much more lifelike this time around. Biggest gripe: Why the hell do dialogues for quests take so long to get across?? NPCs literally give you a 5 word sentence then pause for another 5 seconds before saying the next... possibly a half…
i think it would be really useful if you could blend 4 shaders with vertex colors. i was wanting to make a base human and have different muscle normals and veins and fat, and just interactively paint the areas you want what and output a final map. i was thinking of using it for rapid npc generation. i have a pretty janky…
I don't know what you mean with "being redundant with game ressources" unless you mean the fact that you have the base data (player, menu, some items, etc) on all discs of a multi-disc game. Or do you mean things like three different looks for NPCs?
