I suggest you make a game with so boring and crappy gameplay but with gorgeous AAA game graphic. Lots of lens flare and Bloom. The protagonist is a female bombshell that as you play, her cloths tears off from battle damage. Her weapon is a dildo sword. Monsters you fight off are classic Dragon Quest's slime. Boom ! There's…
Frankie, the CM, put it eloquently. Everyone who works at 343 works their because they love HALO and want to make specifically HALO a better series. Not even everyone who worked on Halo at Bungie can say that, according to Frankie. Bungie was making RTS games before Halo. Also helps that they are all from AAA studios and…
Unless of course that is what is wanted. I imagine the biggest adult gaming companies have full on motion capture facilities for this sort of thing. To be honest I feel that adult stuff works best on patreon.etc, where it can see its full potential. There is a definite difference in the quality expected of the work…
Just guessing but most likely because they know that the next game is only in prototype phase and only needs a small team for a time, maybe even a year before going flatout for the final year or 2 of production(during which time they will be hiring again). This really sucks, its one of the things that scares me about…
Hey @Fwap I rly rly want to know how to do this in 3ds max but I already spend tons of time searching and found basically nothing. Can you please share the workflow or a thread, article about this in 3ds max ? Thank you! Oh and AMAZING WORK this looks like a finished aaa game level that I want to play :)
IMO, I find it a bit suspect that a realism only portfolio is heavily limiting. Especially if we're talking game industry. I don't got the numbers but I'm confident there are more realistic games being made in the AAA space than stylized. And when you talk stylized, it's a very diverse and different set of artstyles…
The limitations make no sense to me. The point of an indie license is to give small timers access to tools they would either ignore or pirate otherwise not to lure them into purchasing the license for AAA price. It feels a bit disingenuous to me. From the pov of indie developers and small time freelancers Modo isn't in…
Well it's priced a lot lower than most AAA games. Imho it's definatley worth it, especially with the fun I'm having and it's also quite a long game compared to today's shooters. I have some -10% coupons for it on Steam if anyone want's one, just send me a PM with your your Steam username, and I'll' send you one right over.
And then once you show him an long list of AAA games using them, he will ask you to prove him that you really needs them, because after all, an object shines or not, period. And then! He will start telling that maybe you should have a different shader for each material type because REALLY colored spec doesn't make sense.…
Damn. I had forgotten about the wiki. I've tried google but I haven't found anything that's useful. All I find are the tutorials that are more for a AAA game developers. As you can see I don't have much polys.and i'm using maya. Damn, i'm sorry i posted on the wrong forum. Sorry and thnx for your help.. ^^
