For what it's worth here's what the Blender viewport looks like these days - basically on par with UE4, Unity and Toolbag3 : https://i.imgur.com/03kcWxy.mp4 Anyways : take your time, relax and learn one thing at a time, and focus on quality and accuracy. Good luck.
Ok started to pose him, it's tricky getting this right since two weights are pulling at him at the same time. I want to get as relaxed and controled and believe pose as possible. Any comments appreciated since I'm currently trying to figure this out.
that will weld all the seams for you when you say unfold do you really mean relax ? cos that has never had any effect on seams or do you mean something else entirely? (eg pelt/ peel / something else? )
Spoon, Really digging the hair there, man. And shoes look good. I'm working on my shoes atm. You might wanna relax her hands a bit. Architecht, I think you got it very close to the concept. Especially her face.
Ratchet and Clank is for a pre-teen audience and it's always had a relaxed pace. I've played through all of them. They are really well-made and well-designed games and definitely worth playing if you want to see a game where everything works together.
1) simple unwrap with 1 seam and the best result that i showed you in the previous reply 2) same but with relax 3) manually moved the verts in a different direction 4) two seams, worst of all What is more frustrating is that it is a simple object........
Thanks for the tips guys! I added more geo around the hole, removed some excess geo elsewhere, and relaxed it all. I've been able to get a nice result. Now it's just a matter if splitting the plates into parts like ParoXum said.
Thankyou for spending the time to do a demonstration dude. I am working tomorrow but Sunday morning i will give this a go..i mean it looks really simple as all i need to do is relax my support edges right? Thanks again :)
nice lighting what engine did you use it looks pretty realistic? Altho i think you used too many poly's in some places. what's the total tri count? rly: has a nice, relaxed "home" feel to it. nice
I really like this latest speed sculpt. It feels a lot more natural and relaxed than some of the stuff I've seen from you. Now when are we going to see something a little more realistic? *nudge nudge wink wink*
