here is a early wip of a smaller pillar, that will be placed at the bottom of a staircase... Wear&Tear will be added in the next step and I will have a look at the space inbetween the skulls... maybe I fill that with rnd stuff... I am just re-doing the large pillars atm - because I took them further and I ended up getting…
Shoulder pads added, that's all the concept modeled; think i'll add a few things to the back because it looks a little bare. Simon - You're right about the shoulders, hopefully they look more accurate with the armour added. Marie - Agreed, her ass does look weird, will remodel it tonight. hah I'll add some wear and tear to…
I agree, there is too much noise on the material. Beat up metal does not necessarily translate into noise. Scratches would concentrate around areas of wear and tear. Also they would most likely follow specific directions. The redesigned blades work fine, but the material is quite dull and doesn't evoke 'sharpness'. I still…
Here's the near finished product - I'm pretty happy with how it's come along now, I just need to figure out what to do with the mortar, and then I'll be making some variations of the same texture; different cracks, wear, etc. Just about time to start my next one! If anyone has any feedback yet, I'd still love to hear it!…

Thanks a lot for all the aswers! i liked a lot the "rude" replies. Reality hits hard, i know it. I also appreciate all the suggestion on the vfx career. I think that all the points of view are correct. If someone want to REALLY do something, then he'll be able to do it. An example: a collegue of mine (cameraman / editor /…
Another update. HP is almost done. Things i would like to add: Disc brake, Handle bar switches, wires etc. Most wear and tear, luggage fabric details etc will be done in zBrush.
@vikk0: There seems to be a little bit of 'distortion' (for lack of a better term) near the end of the sword that isn't in the concept. There are some other differences, but I imagine that they are your own take on how the shapes should be/preparing for easier retopology. Regardless, it is looking great and I'm sure you…
I got this email a couple of days ago becasue I am registered with the recruiter Interactive Selection (http://www.Games-JOBS.com). ============================================================ Do you know anyone who would like to have the Hitman First Person Shooter game on their CV/ resume? Someone who might like some of…
I started applying to jobs the past 2 weeks , around 30 studio I know it's not a lot, but having to research and cater custom Motivation/cover letters takes a lot time, just for in most cases to not get a reply back. I got 5 confirmed rejections back which is better then nothing and confirms at least that my application is…
