I bought me a Intuos 3, its great but i have 2 problems with Zbrush. - I cant define the shift key (for smoothing) on one of the tablet keys!? - And how can i use the Touch Strip for zooming in Zbrush?
I bought an ultrawide with the thought of consolidation of my two 24" 16x10's... it didn't last long due to the aspect ratio of my apps when snapping. I ended up with a 24" 4k on the side. If apps could better remember positions, I would maybe go to a single UW. Another thing is that there aren't any tablets that are in UW…
No I use a MonoPrice tablet (switched last year from an Intuos3 after reading some glowing reviews). Pressure sensitivity is fine when sculpting/painting, it's just the buttons that are strange.
I enjoyed sketching with Colours DS years back but if you're buying a device purely for sketching and some gaming I would probably look into that pressure sensitive Samsung tablet tbh.
My texture artist at work dose the whole vertical monitor for his main screen and a regular one for his second monitor. He prefers to use a tablet over a cintiq though.
having a few tablet problems still. zoom in too far and everyhting goes flakey, mesh spinning around, activating multiple layers. anyone else having this? - bit of a showstopper really
Anyone remember this baby? http://www.displayblog.com/2008/12/18/lenovo-thinkpad-w700ds-17-and-106-in-one-notebook-pc/ Built-in Wacom tablet and extendable second screen. Shweet.
[ QUOTE ] to sculpt a real life clay head with a paintbrush. it wouldn't be much fun really:) [/ QUOTE ]I usually use a rake myself. Its not that dissimilar to working in a sculpting program with a tablet.
Is Painter essentials 2 any good? It came with my wacom. Or should I just stick with my Photoshop CS for painting,I seem to be getting along great with it and my tablet.
Do you still have pressure in photoshawp? if you do, it could be a problem with mudbox itself and not the drivers. Have you tried stopping/restarting the tablet service when shit happens?
