something we've been doing a fair bit in work with maya is animating models with various constraints and ik chains, and baking down the animation to bone rotation. I was wondering if anyone knows of a similar feature/plugin/script in max?
OK, looks like when things are being created, its automatically putting an orient constraint in the rotation controller, on everything... Anyone heard of this?
D269: Started learning how to rig Tank tracks, quite difficult setup with all those constraints, but the result looks great. Need to add wheels and top rig & create concept and proper model.
I dont know about the second one, but to your first question in the snaps menu (choose what to snap to) on one of the tabs there is use axis constraint, I think this should solve your issue.
