Received alot of applications and have been in contact with those that I would like to go further with. If you have not received an email from you my apologies, I would like to get back to everyone but due to the flood of emails I just don't have the time. Cheers to all those who have applied.
them rich web applications caused me to buy a new computer, because that google hardware acelerated 3d engine for browsers overheated my gfx card killing every component hahaha, "i can has desktop applications?" ElysiumGX microsoft has done alot for openig for developpers since they got sued by the EU theyre not that bad…
Hi Abid I'm not an animator myself but your reel looked pretty good to me for an entry level position. Perhaps you could add some lip syncing although at this point I'd say up your job search. You mentioned you applied and then had a break - I think it's important to just keep applying as you never know that next job you…
It's been a while since I updated here. I've had an irritating month or so; I keep getting ill. So these are some stuff from just before that; I think they're newer than the previous posts since they look different, but they're from some time ago. They look marginally less dogshit than I remember, which is something. As…

I've never made any sort of foliage before so I'm starting from scratch.
Thanks Scott, that really means a lot! Keep us updated on how it is to work at Crytek! Out of interest, how did you go about applying when you were still at uni? Just shooting a few emails off, or did you go through the application process as you would do if you weren't a graduate?
I got in! Just got a call from them this evening to say I've been accepted onto the Summer program. Was kinda concerned since a lot of people seem to hear back in a day or two, and it's been a week or so since I applied. I know it's not like a major application procedure but whatever, I'm excited!
A static mesh will have the same number of materials as you apply in Maya, in the same places. You can apply materials to a static mesh by either double clicking on a static mesh to open up the static mesh editor, which will apply it to any instances of that static mesh that hasn't had a seperate material applied to it.…
