I rather see a well done akira anime series than a damn movie trilogy. I want to see future 80s tokyo not future new york from a western point of view. If anyone has read the manga and saw the original ending then you know how the author felt about foreigners meddling with Japanese affairs. -

How is 80 percent or so that the guys own study proved how people use their own OS a minority? They should be working on figuring out the means to get those 20 percent up to speed on those most efficient methods of using the os. A bunch of icons, and menus within menus is not an efficient or logical easy to use ui at all. -

This is the best article I've found explaining texel density https://80.lv/articles/textel-density-tutorial/ When working in Maya there is a tool that estimates your texel density. Selec your UVs, set px/cm, hit scale and Maya will give you as close to that texel density as it can. It's a good starting point for your UV… -

a AAA company offering you 20K is a joke. I bet you that they will try and make you work 80 hour weeks too, and when you complain they'll say that "it's part of being in the game industry". I suggest you keep looking, 20k a year is pathetic. You shouldn't take anything under 40K in my opinion. -

haha. I like the 80's retro look tho... my old Sony stereo tower had this look ;) but it's still much nicer than the wii dev kit. We do have some PS3 debug stations which look similar (or maybe this is a debug station?). But the current devkit looks like the PS3 slim (nice!). -

You talk as if Viva Pinata was a bad game. I'm 35 so I don't see them as suddenly getting good in the 90's, I thoroughly enjoyed Slalom, Wizards & Warriors, RC Pro-Am and many other 80's titles. Are you sure the slowing output isn't a result of the increased time & budget to make games? -

Well, if the companies that made original games don't complain or have anything against Gameloft then it doesn't really matter what games they rip off and they'll just keep doing it. As ridiculous as this all may be, I'm just glad I played 80% of the games listed above on a PC and not on an iPhone/iPad with sub-par… -
