Thought I give their Kickstarter a boost. Many of the people and artists involved in this are part of the team that got screwed over by Jig from the Stomping Land. They have a pre-alpha you can test. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2051044627/the-isle
Its funny that you mention tai-o. I did a lot of work in that area. There were supposed to be side missions in the later levels but they were cut. There are chandeliers in the teahouse, mega, penthouse, and some of the dinos in the museum have the same effect.
Ehhh ive always thought the movie 12 Monkeys was probebly the most accurate depiction of the future of Humans ...well minus the time travel. I also pretty much go with the school of thought that the Dino's were wiped out by pandemic .
oh god! Talk about blast from my past. I used to watch my Dino Rider videos like every other day. I remember their intros were similar to that A-Ha Music video, But with Dinosaurs, haha.
Pretty good! I like your snappy style a lot. I would probably remove the dino from the 3DMotive tutorial as it's not really telling me anything other than, well, you can follow a tutorial. Solid work.
Thanks for sharing! I recommend uploading to Syncsketch for more detailed feedback. Although there aren't obviously any dinosaurs to get reference from, there are some animals that move somewhat comparable. Two-legged dinosaurs move similarly to larger birds, such as an ostrich. It's a bit hard to tell the scale, compared…
You know what I miss?? Dino Crisis. Man the first one was so good. I would love to see a game like that in today's standards. Remember this scene? SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME. Ugh...Survival Horror memories...
Another thing to watch is flow, i find my eye first going to those high contrast areas around the dino head spikes, and then following the spikes off the page. So something is needed to guide the eye around to the other characters.
jes opened the dino"s in maya... looking dead on geometry awesome gorgeous! very exciting> ( great job... thanks again fer the obj reference! ) starting point for texture capture turned out very nice as well! BORAT niiiiiccceee!!!!
