@Nuclear Angel Thanks dude! Skin will come last, as it will take most of the time. Texturing day1, focused mostly on leather parts and metals. Played with lighting a little, trying to get that Witcher feeling by using a panorama from the game.
Daym, swish setup Timmy! You guys have some nice layouts, mine is literally shoved into the corner of a room next to a window... will have to spruce up the workspace like this when I move to my new place :D
The Unity Asset store has some good stuff: link I was actually thinking of piecing together a DayZ/WarZ clone out of assets off of the unity store. This city pack and this nature pack pretty much covers all the environment bases for me.
@kayta daym, that fish tho... really nice on the skin texture @EricElwell these little bubble tanks are awesome. I love how that last one is capturing the horrors of war, yet still manages to be adorable. @allmighty_thunder lol, I had a similar idea for swollen:
DAYM! Dude, I'm lovin' the level of detail you put in your textures! This is awesome! And yeah! Those lens flares! They make the world a better place! I'm interested in the wireframe of the lowpoly if you don't mind posting it. Waiting the next update!
Daym Neox that's awesome :) Anyway, finished up the modeling on this guy: Colors are a quick test, but it's pretty close to the colorsheme im going for, just gotta finish unwrapping (bleh) Dude himself is around 1500 tris and the grenade launcher at about 500 and yeah it's missing a trigger
day 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6v3714_DrCs day2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btMLA4Z8WOE Low down is streamlined modeling tools, extruding, edgeloops, bridging..the whole shebang. A bridge to keyshot and a special keyshot deal for $250. Oh and the real topping on the cake... 64bit.
Breaking Point mod for Arma 3. Think dayz but PVP not survival focused. Excellent ballistics and medical system. All around fantastic multiplayer FPS; but a very long and intense experience. It really takes a toll sometimes but man you can have some awesome experiences.
day5 of stone watch... woot, i pissed out... some soft tissue. looks like a blood clot. urine wasnt filled with any more blood than before... so i'll say its more positive than not... i got it in a jar. i'm thinking i'll name it gauss.
